CNEEC Director of International Project, Chief representative of CNEEC in China, Shirley Huang and Education Officers, Chief representative of CNEEC in Chengdu, Sophie Jin have attended the Synergy ’09 Education Conference at Pearson Convention Center, Toronto on Sept. 17, 2009. The CNEEC delegates have exchanged ideas with representatives in the conference about international education activities and opportunities in China and India. The delegates introduced the General Study Program which has been running successfully in China to Hon. Lijun Lan, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Canada. As a long-term member of CBIE, the delegates also reported to Jennifer Humphries, Vice President of CBIE, regarding the developments of the General Study Program and CNEEC’s efforts of recruiting international students in the past nine years. They are impressed by CNEEC’s successful operation, and offered suggestions and hopes for the future.
