CNEEC delegation, International Education Officer, Sophie Jin, along with 5 staff of CNEEC China office Jessie Liu, Sherry Xiao, Tracy Zhang, Ivy Lu and Jane Dong visited University of Alberta on February 7 to 10, 2011.
The delegation received warm welcome from Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, School of Business, Faculty of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences, English Language Program, Faculty of Extension, International Service Centre, and International Admissions. During the three day visit, the delegation have taken the opportunity to learn about different programs of University of Alberta, communicate to have better understanding between the two sides, and talk to the students to get the idea of how to prepare before they arrive.
Faculty of Arts held an impressive reception for the delegation to meet all the students from GSP program in the evening of Feb. 9. Dean of Arts, Associate Dean of Science, and Director of International admissions, all agree that they have seen GSP students’ excellent performance at University of Alberta, and would be happy to work with CNEEC and expect to welcome more students from GSP Program.
Both University of Alberta and CNEEC express their strong interest in working more closely together, and would treasure the opportunity to develop further cooperation.
