Gary Dyck, Director of ESL Center，University of Manitoba visited GSP at Southwest Jiaotong University, and CNEEC Chengdu Office in Oct. 28th, 2009.
He made a vivid speech to GSP students of grade 08 at room 4418 of Yifu Building, and elaborative conversation with students after the speech. The students paid attention to aspects of faculty and majors, admission requirement, cost, facilities within campus and living envinroment. Some of them paid more attention to work status and co-op programs and even part-time jobs in Manitoba. Gary answered each question with patience and hoped students to continue their undergraduate studies in University of Manitoba. Gary then had a meeting with CNEEC staff, working on detailed information including: the coming challenge our students may face in the future; how does the advantage of co-op program perform on our students; how to overcome obstacle in language study. Finally, the two parties expressed desire to cooperate with each other perfectly in the future.
