OCT 26, Edmonton, responding to the invitation of one of the long-term cooperative partners, University of Alberta, CNEEC delegation from Vancouver head office and Jinan office kicked off the business itinerary.
Scheduled in two days, the delegation met with the registration officials, international education officials, language school heads, and program leaders from Faculty of Arts, Science, and Business.
CNEEC has helped over 2,600 students transferring their study to their targeted Canadian universities in the past 13 years. Being one of the valued partner, the university extended sincere welcome to CNEEC delegation for visiting University of Alberta. People from both parties had several great meetings exchanging the information on the education, articulation, transferring, students’ lives on campus, and new opportunities to cooperate in the future. CNEEC proposed to invite professors of UA teaching EAP and engineering courses to GSP students in China with the hope of GSP students better prepared for their study in Canada.
As a tradition, U of A also arranged a dinning party for the delegation along with the graduates from GSP to better communicate. The staff from U of A was impressed by CNEEC’s deep care of their students. The delegation and students also presented their thanks to the consideration and thoughtful ideas of U of A.
The delegation also visited the university of Calgary, and University of British Columbia in BC, where they organized the meeting with the graduate students of GSP program,on campus or on jobs. “I want to tell our GSP students cherish their university lives in the first two years. It was a great experience in life. ” “English is super important, getting ready!” “Life in Canada is so different from what we had in China.” The GSP graduated students gave their advise to new GSP students. It was a great pleasure of teachers seeing students enjoyed their lives, became mature, stayed independent and achieved good performance in Canada.
This trip has strengthened the relationship between CNEEC and cooperative partners. Staying closely communication with GSP graduates in Canada updated CNEEC of the new agenda!
